About the BlogThe blog on this site started with the intention of dealing with issues such as performance, musicology, research, reviews (of CDs, DVDs, concerts and books on music), education, theory, and analysis. It is written by Avior Byron and guest writers. The blog aims to provide useful information for music lovers by encouraging critical writing, discussion and international access to music and information on music. It is one of the first musicology blogs on the web, a pioneer blog with relation to performance studies, and the first of such Israeli blogs written in English. One of its main aims is to encourage discussion, as done in conferences, yet with a larger audience (including music lovers who are not professional musicians), using the benefits and technology of the Internet. You are welcome to comment on the blog posts and contribute to the discussions. Consider subscribing to the blog (it is free) and you will receive the latest Blog posts via RSS or email. |
